I just finnished up a video for yall. Im still wating for my parts to come in,so me and the gremlin went to try my 24th scale crawler out on some rocks. At least for a bit till he decided to try and catch some fish by hand in the creek lol. Mama was not happy with the boys coming home wet.

I shitcanned the stock motor and most of the motor mount locked both the diffs. I modified a microservo the same as the winch mod and made some aluminium mounts. Then I used a 70t gear witht the same pitch I ripped out of a old wally world special rc car for a pinion. Installed the 4wd kit the suspension upgrade and a bearing set. The 4 runner kit is dang near a drop on. I only had to mount a strip of styrene in the front to accept the stock xmod boudy mount 2 #4 screws hold the back.
The wheels are made using the xmod stock wheel centers and the aoshima kit wheels trimmed glued together whith the swampers glued up on em. Im in the process of making a tierod for the steering to relieve the bump steer the lift kit causes. I still have to fit the interior and my detail parts to the roof rack. thanks for the comments guys.

I have a question is that the stock suspension you have on there? I was thinking about building a TLT scaler but I think this would be fun too for now and keep me out of trouble with the misses the xmods are on sale at RS for 30 bucks

Yeah its the off road upgrade but I did a rear articulation mod to the pivot.

Im pissed I missed the comp but I have been working every night and weekend for extra cash so no free time for me for a while.

Wow, that looks real nice and seems to work really well, got any pics of the servo/motor mod. I have an H2 that I'm setting up for baja racing in the backyard but I'm building some SSMT's for crawling.

Again great looking Rig, you can barely tell it's an Xmod....LOL

Got a link to the scale thread, I used to be a regular there, I'm the one that nudged and pushed them into vbulletin, really like how things are growing there, I remember when it was so quite there...lol, just been so busy with life, really hadn't had much time until the last few days and than I go and catch a cold from my youngest daughter....errrrrrrr

well work is coming first for quite a while. I had a setback thursday I got some kind of pukein flue or somat and Ive been down all weekend so Im behind at the afternoon job. Ill check in when I can guys.
