what is it that you don't like about it, that you want to change chassis's. Have you ran the truck since you got it ? IMHO A few things i would change move your rec and esc to either side the rear axle. The either buy or rebuild your battery to a either brick sytle or saddle pack. But other then that it looks good and should work awesome.So give it chance before you switch over.

cory, they are duratrax wheels with moabs and rock rings

well guys, i just took it out, and the whole f'ing rear axle came off, i think it was just a bunch of loose screwa or somthing, atleast i hope, well im off to fix it

ok, the axle casings are done for, the holes were you mount the link mounts to, the threads are striped, so if one of you guys have a axle casing, let me know, and bring it with you tommarrow

got any pics ? Are you talking about where the screw going near the diff or the ones on the arms ?

can you fill the holes with super glue?put about 3 drops in there, let dry, then assemble, try it.

btw the body reminds me of big erics upside down truggy

lolo, ya, i thought it looked like that to, but no, the 2 holes in top of the casing for you guy to put the upper link mounts, ill take pics in a min, its alll back togather, and i took your advise eric, i moved the ESC and RX to the rear, and then the battery right behind the front servo, btw what time did you want me to meet you out there

looks good little E, like cory said you may want to put a few drops of ca an it let it dry and then thread the screws into it. Or if still want I can bring those housings. I would try the ca first.

well guys, Eric and i decided i need a new battery pack style, so heres what i came up with, with alittle help from Eric

im going to run a 6-cell saddle style battery, that i will hand make, im useing 18AWG wire, and standard conecters, and as you can see im rinning 4500 cells even though mine already had enough wheels speed but i plan to have this done for the comp, but we'll see what goes on

18g is a litle small

really, i can always order bigger if yall think i need too, ask eric and mike, as is im gonna launch this thing into orbit, go ahead as Eric

I go with 16g as the smallest and up from there.

Eric on cheapbatterypacks for a saddle with 14g wire and 4500 $51.79 shipped or for 3600 pack $43.15 shipped or 2 of the 3600 packs $72.60 shipped ,Even with the 3600's you would have alot punch and with 2 packs you would be good for a day of crawling. Could go all day on one just one those packs. I think it be easier to buy then rather then build one, b.c you can screw up the packs if you dont know what you doing.

thats true, i think im might do that, get a 3600 pack, and practice on one if these batterys that i already have

i spent friday building me 3 new packs.

4500 cells are just going to give you a longer run time. Not anymore wheel speed. Adding more cells will do that.

not really, i had a bunch of lexan on this thing, but had to remove it because it wasnt strong enough, so the only thing i have that is lexan on there, is the tranny mount, i think i might make some lexan wheel wideners, and then use some threaded rod, and thread it thruogh the wheels wideners, so we'll see what goes on, i also figured out a way to mount the body with body post, and have it square in the middle of the chassis, i cant take pics because the digi cord is in Georgetown, so i can load pics up
