Hello! My name is Chris, I've been using Linux for about 8 months now. I'm still trying to get the hang of things, including the vocabulary, so please excuse me if I'm unhelpfully vague with my descriptions.
[Q]

I've recently used synaptic to uninstall the svn, and install the new bzn. I thought everything went well, I could run awn and it worked. Then my update manager icon appeared, and I clicked to begin the update process. I got an error that said the software index is broken, and to run "sudo apt-get install -f"
[Q]

I ran it, and this was the output:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Correcting dependencies... Done
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
libtrackerclient0 python-pyogg libgtk-jni python-pyvorbis libcairo-java
python-mutagen libxml1 libglib-java python-pysqlite2 fastjar
python-elementtree libswt3.2-gtk-jni
Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them.
The following extra packages will be installed:
libawn-bzr
The following NEW packages will be installed:
libawn-bzr
0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
1 not fully installed or removed.
Need to get 0B/32.8kB of archives.
After unpacking 111kB of additional disk space will be used.
Do you want to continue [Y/n]?
[Q]

Everything looks good right? I click yes, then:
(Reading database ... 134829 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking libawn-bzr (from .../libawn-bzr_0.1.2-bzr78-1_i386.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/libawn-bzr_0.1.2-bzr78-1_i386.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite `/usr/lib/libawn.so.0.0.1', which is also in package libawn0
Errors were encountered while processing:
/var/cache/apt/archives/libawn-bzr_0.1.2-bzr78-1_i386.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
[Q]

Then i tried synaptic. I chose 'fix broken packages', it tries to install libawn-bzr. I hit 'apply', and get this error:
E: /var/cache/apt/archives/libawn-bzr_0.1.2-bzr78-1_i386.deb: trying to overwrite `/usr/lib/libawn.so.0.0.1', which is also in package libawn0
[Q]

The 'details' output isn't letting me copy and paste. The gist of it according to my quite untrained eye is:
[Q]

Unpacking libawn-bzr (from .../libawn-bzr_.1.2-bzr78-1_i386.deb) ...
dpkg error processing ...
trying to overwrite ...
erors were encountered while processing:
/var/cache/apt/archives/libawn-bzr_.1.2-bzr78-1_i386.deb
e: sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned anerror code (1)
A package failed to install. Trying to recover:
...
dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
[Q]

The error looks similar to what I got when trying using apt-get, which seems consistent. I can completely type the last error message if necessary. I'm running the i386 Ubuntu 7.04 with gnome, compiz fusion.
[Q]

Thanks for reading, and if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate the help!
[Q]

looks like you have both my repo and trevino's. remove one of them, purge everything awn-related and then reinstall awn.

In a boost to animal welfare activists looking to get livestock out of cramped cages, Burger King will be the first major U.S. fast-food air jordan pas cher chain to give all of its chickens and pigs some room to roam.
[Q]

On Wednesday, the world's second-biggest burger chain pledged that all of its eggs and pork will come from cage-free chickens and pigs by 2017, hoping to satisfy rising consumer demand for humanely produced fare and increase its sales in the process.
[Q]

Other companies have made similar but less broad announcements this year, part of an industrywide shift to consider animal welfare when buying food supplies.
[Q]

"Even if you're buying a nike air max burger, you want to buy it from someone you like and respect," said food industry analyst Phil Lempert, who writes a daily industry newsletter. "It's proven that consumers are willing to pay a little bit more for fairness, whether it's to humans or animals."
[Q]

Conventionally raised eggs come from hens confined in "battery cages," nike air max pas cher which give them roughly the same space as a sheet of standard notebook paper. Most pork comes from sows confined during their four-month pregnancies in narrow crates.
[Q]

The hens would still nike pas cher be housed in a barn, but they have room to move and perches and nesting boxes. Sows are also held indoors, but they would not be confined in the cramped crates while they are pregnant.
[Q]

Egg and pork producers have argued that easing confinement standards for animals raises nike air max production costs and makes those who adjust their practices less competitive.
[Q]

Animal welfare groups applauded Burger King's decision.
[Q]

"So many tens of thousands of animals will now be in better living conditions," said Wayne Pacelle, president of the Humane Society of nike air max chaussures the United States, which has been pushing Burger King and other companies to adopt similar policies. "Numerically, this is significant because Burger King is such a big purchaser of these products."
