The movie was originally going to be called Caught In Flight, before being changed to Diana, and is directed by acclaimed Downfall director Oliver Hirschbiegel.

Naomi was also seen on set near the princess's home in Kensington Palace Gardens, where she chatted to actor Douglas Hodge.

Hodge, who plays butler Paul Burrell, was in full costume as he sat on a bench in West London and ran through ascene with Watts.

Leading lady Naomi had little time to rest, however, as she was soon up and running as she jogged around the area with her face hidden beneath a cap and sunglasses.

Diana's former butler, Paul Burell, said in 2006: 'The true love of her life, her soul mate, was a heart surgeon called Hasnet Khan.

'She met him while she was visiting someone in the Royal Brompton Hospital. The lift -- the elevator door -- was about to close and someone stuck their foot in it.

It's claimed that she was set to marry Khan, but he was reluctant because of the media attention.

Dr Khan confirmed in his testimonial at the inquest into her death that they ended their two year relationship months before her death in August 1997.
