set_icon_name and home dir applet installation

Just been playing around with the new AppletSimple and trying to get my derived applet to use a custom icon, and I can't get it to work if the applet is installed in my home directory.

If I put the icon in

/usr/share/avant-window-navigator/applets/radio/icons

then it works, if I use

/home/bryan/.config/awn/applets/radio/icons

then I get nothing.

It also appears that there's no way to have config schemas in a home dir install.

Have I missed something? If not, would it be better to just remove the home directory installation option?

The schema thing is on my TODO list. The icon thing is applet-specific.
