DesktopManager applet doesn't load my image

Hi,
I add the DesktopManager applet and change the base folder to a folder with 1 jpg image.
When I ask him to chnage the background image it says :

Error
Either there are no images in the selected folder, or DesktopManager has not had enough time to scan the foler yet

I'm using Karmic Koala with a fresh new awn installed.

I'm in the same boat Jandry. I was pretty happy I found this after I installed AWN, I'd been looking for a desktop changer and this one seemed perfect. But now it doesn't like to work!

FWIW, the DesktopManager applet has been orphaned and there is no current maintainer. So, you may not get an answer for a while.
